Agreement to Terms

By downloading, installing, or using Memory Chores (“the App”), you agree to these Terms of Service (“Terms”). If you do not agree, do not use the App.

Description of Service

Memory Chores is a memory training game where players memorize and recall tile patterns to increase water temperature. The App includes:

  • Memory pattern gameplay

  • Progress tracking and statistics

  • In-game currency (coins) earned through gameplay

  • Power-ups purchased with in-game coins

  • Optional Game Center leaderboards

License

You receive a limited, non-exclusive, non-transferable, revocable license to use the App for personal, non-commercial purposes.

You May:

  • Install and use the App on your devices

  • Play the game and earn in-game rewards

  • Use Game Center features (optional)

You May NOT:

  • Modify, reverse engineer, or decompile the App

  • Use the App commercially

  • Hack, cheat, or exploit the App

  • Copy, distribute, or create derivative works

  • Remove copyright or ownership notices

User Conduct

You agree not to:

  • Use the App for illegal purposes

  • Access systems you are not authorized to access

  • Use bots or automated tools

  • Interfere with the App or other users

  • Impersonate others or provide false information

In-Game Currency and Power-Ups

Coins

  • Earned only through gameplay

  • Have no real-world monetary value

  • Cannot be exchanged for real money

  • Stored locally on your device

Power-Ups

  • Purchased only with in-game coins

  • Provide temporary advantages

  • Are non-refundable

  • Stored locally on your device

No Real Money Transactions

  • The App is distributed as a paid app

  • No in-app purchases

  • All items are earned through gameplay only

Game Center

If you enable Game Center:

  • You must follow Apple’s Game Center Terms

  • Your profile and scores are managed by Apple

  • We are not responsible for Game Center operation or data

  • You may disable Game Center anytime in device settings

Intellectual Property

Our Rights

All App content is owned by us or our licensors, including:

  • Graphics, design, and UI

  • Game mechanics and algorithms

  • Text, sounds, and animations

  • Branding and trademarks

Your Rights

You do not gain ownership of the App. Your use rights are limited by these Terms.

Disclaimer of Warranties

The App is provided “as is” and “as available” without any warranties, including:

  • Merchantability

  • Fitness for a particular purpose

  • Non-infringement

  • Uninterrupted or error-free operation

We do not guarantee that the App will meet your expectations, that bugs will be fixed, or that the App is free of harmful components.

Limitation of Liability

To the fullest extent permitted by law

  • We are not liable for indirect, incidental, special, or consequential damages

  • We are not liable for lost data, profits, or opportunities

  • Our total liability is limited to the amount you paid for the App (zero)

Indemnification

You agree to defend and hold the developer harmless from any claims arising from:

  • Your use of the App

  • Your violation of these Terms

  • Your infringement of others’ rights

Data and Privacy

Your use of the App is governed by our Privacy Policy. Key points:

  • All data is stored locally

  • No personal information is collected

  • No third-party data sharing

  • Game Center data is managed by Apple

Updates and Modifications

App Updates

  • We may update the App at any time

  • Updates may add or change features

  • Continued use after updates means you accept the changes

Terms Updates

  • We may revise these Terms

  • Significant updates will be communicated

  • Continued use after changes means acceptance

  • The “Last Updated” date will reflect changes

Termination

By You

Delete the App from your device to stop using it.

By Us

We may:

  • Discontinue the App

  • Modify or remove features

  • Terminate access if Terms are violated

On termination, your license ends immediately and you must delete the App.

Geographic Restriction

The App is available worldwide, but:

  • You must comply with local laws

  • We make no guarantee the App is appropriate everywhere

Children’s Use

The App is suitable for all ages, but:

  • Children under 13 should use it under parental supervision

  • No personal information is collected

Dispute Resolution

Governing Law

No Waiver

Failure to enforce any right does not waive that right.

Assignment
